We Started Inside a Law Firm

Apollo's Managed IT Services practice started inside a law firm.

In 2003, a West Texas law firm hired its first IT person - ever. Over the next five years that meant upgrading every computer and server, moving the firm onto a new time, billing and accounting system, and implementing document management for the first time.

In 2008, that work became a business. The firm became Apollo's first Managed Services client, and they're still a client today.

For 23 years, we've supported that firm and others like it - and today, our primary focus is law firms with 2-25 attorneys.

4 Ways Apollo Is Built for the Way Law Firms Work

IT should be boring.

Your work is the practice of law. On a good day, technology should be invisible - the file opens, the scanner feeds, time gets captured, and the display in the conference room just works. Nobody at your firm should have a favorite IT story. When you do need to call, you'll get a straight answer in plain English from someone who's glad you asked. Great support matters. Needing it less matters more.

Every hour your billable staff spends on IT is an hour you can't bill.

Your firm works hard to maximize billable time - attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants alike. None of it should go to a machine that won't wake up, a scanner that won't feed, or a system nobody can reach. Those minutes don't move to tomorrow. They're just gone. Apollo keeps your billable people billing instead of managing technology.

Small problems get caught before they become your problem.

A failing hard drive, a backup that quietly stopped running, a workstation falling behind on security updates - these give warning signs long before they take a firm offline. Our monitoring runs around the clock and our technicians work that list every business day, so most of what could have interrupted your week is handled before anyone at your firm notices.

We know how important your data is, which is why we keep it safe.

A lost file or a compromised client record can mean broken trust, malpractice exposure, or worse. Apollo builds security and backup into everything we do, so your firm's data stays safe, private, and recoverable.

When It Can't Be Fixed Remotely, We Drive

In 18 years of managed services, we've found that 15% of IT problems can't be solved over a remote connection. A dead workstation the morning of a filing. A document feeder that won't scan the exhibits you need before 5:00. A server that needs someone standing in front of it.

Many IT companies don't send anyone. They can't - there's nobody near you. They subcontract it to a company you've never met, ask you to ship the equipment off, or walk your office manager through it over the phone while she's on hold with a client. You're paying an IT company while your own billable staff does the work. That's why we come to you.

That's why we built our coverage area around one rule: if we can't reach your office in about an hour, we don't take your firm on as a client. We have technicians based in Odessa, Early, Albany and Waco - and we serve the Permian Basin, the Big Country, the Brownwood area, and Central Texas.

We don't cover the whole state. That's the point.

Flat-Rate and Predictable

Covered services are included in one monthly cost. No per-ticket charges, no hourly billing for the work your agreement covers. Your cost changes when your firm changes - not when your month goes badly.

Wherever Your Firm Is Right Now, We Start There

Some firms come to us running operating systems that stopped getting security updates years ago, with backups nobody has tested and no real endpoint protection. Others are in good shape - current hardware and software, and already experimenting with AI.

Both are normal. The first conversation isn't a sales pitch, it's an honest look at where your firm stands: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what it would take to get your firm to where technology stops interrupting the workday.

And no lectures about how you got here. Every firm we've taken on has had something in that condition - usually because the people responsible for it were busy practicing law.

If Several of Those Sounded Familiar, Let's Talk

No pitch, no proposal, no obligation. Fifteen minutes to hear what's actually breaking at your firm, what it's costing in billable time, and where you're exposed. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
